SUPER BLOOD WOLF MOON 2019!

Yep, stayed up past midnight to see the blood moon, and it was worth it!  An Irish coffee helped!

Power went out around 8 am Sunday and came back on around 9 that night.  High winds took down trees (what else) and took down power lines.

By 12:20 the moon had turned orange, but the bitter temps and wind made for a blurry shot.  A tripod was needed in this situation.

What was nice is I could see the moon in the living room skylight and knew when a change occurred for me to run out for a split second and get a shot.  It was well worth the effort, the sky was beautiful, clear as a bell, millions of stars and best of all, the BLOOD WOLF MOON!

Renee and her boyfriend have been in the field this weekend trying to trap Puppy.  Yesterday I had a hard time communicating with no power and iffy cell service.  She brought a drone with her and they spotted Puppy only once today, but three times on Saturday.  She brought 20 cheeseburgers and the trap has been moved to where she now is one mile from the shelter.

Renee saw this tree and believes it's a sign.  I sure hope so.  Going on 12 days of search and rescue with probably many more to come.  I hate Puppy is out in this bitter cold.  I have raised $780 in funds for this effort.  People are being very generous, and I hope Renee doesn't give up.

First sighting on Saturday took Renee by surprise, she was so close!

Puppy heard her car and came to the edge of the woods, but ran when Renee got out of the car, but I think she knows Renee means food.  That is our only hope to catch her.  At least it will be in the 60s by Wednesday, and that can't come too soon!
