Anniversary No. 36

                          Best anniversary card ever!  Made me laugh.        

                         Went to our usual place for anniversary lunch, Postero                   in Hendersonville.

                         Love the relaxed atmosphere, the tree is up, and the                       food is to die for.

                         Always the first Irish coffee of the season.  This year we toasted to making it another year and to Bob getting a new job with a great law firm in Asheville, which he starts this Tuesday!

                        We shared an appetizer BBQ spiced potato chips with  sweet onion and rosemary mousse.  Yum.

                        I always have their ceasar salad, it's the best I've ever                    had, even better than my own, and that's saying                              something! Bob had a burger.

                        And then there was dessert! Peanut Butter Semifreddo, frozen peanut butter mousse, hot fudge sauce, salted peanuts and marshmallow caramel popcorn. I cannot believe we split one and didn't get two!

                        Looks like we licked the plate, but we really didn't.

                              Later that day we decided to cut the tree originally planned to be ours, but was too big and Mindy had one on her property to use, and called the county food bank to see if there was a family in need that would like a big, fresh cedar.  They said bring it on!

     So big we couldn't close the hatch, so tied it down.  I also bought some lights and bulbs and a stand to take along with it.

     /Dropped it off and left it on the front lawn of the food bank.  The man who came out said a family was coming shortly to pick it up.

      A nice way to end the day and happy the tree would make a family happy at Christmas!
