| New Year's day was so warm and sunny, I had to get out and do some prep for spring. To my surprise, there's an owl watching me! Only took five years, but now we finally have a resident owl! |

| Day after xmas we drove to TN to get Jill, a 75 lb. collie mix out of prison. She stayed with us a few days and we drove a few hours north to meet Peter & Norma from NJ who came to get her. She is doing great! Very sweet girl. |

| Our Xmas Eve cocktail, the chocolate cardigan, was a hit with Bob, too strong for me, so he got to drink mine, too! |

| For Christmas dinner we made a spinach lasagna with a béchamel sauce and Bob added chicken meatballs to his side. |
