Lunch with Molly, Marian & Dixie

We had lunch at Scottsdale Farms and then went to Marian's for dessert and to meet Molly

She is very sweet and has a LOT of energy

We also got to see photos of Marian's trip to the Ukraine in May

Dog Days of Summer

Bear alerts around the lake.  Asking everyone to take down bird feeders and get bear-proof
trash cans.  Too many to trap and move, especially on the North Carolina side.  Could it be they've
seen the Wong?

Who cares about bear when there's a swimming pool and a football ready and waiting?

Ahhh

Maybe a long afternoon nap in the heat of the day.

Or maybe just laying low on the porch and watching the chipmunks..

Or maybe chasing chipmunks?

The cool pad and chillow aren't bad.

Maybe going au-naturale and taking a dip in the marshes?

Maybe a Frosty Paws before the nap.

Tis the Season for Mellow Mushrooms

Fourth of July

PLAN A:  Take a nice drive through the mountains, have lunch at a favorite Indian restaurant in Asheville,
do a few things at the boathouse.  Thwarted by an attorney who needed a transcript by July 4th weekend of a medical physicist's testimony on the radiation of a urologist during fluoroscopy procedures.  Sounds like a fun deposition, doesn't it??
PLAN B:  Sipping Zwack (a Hungarian liquor) which Bob's favorite band "The Church" was drinking onstage at a concert last month, and downloading some old vinyl onto his MP3.  The Numark was his 25th anniversary gift.  Oh, well, at least he had a good weekend!
