Was in the garden yesterday morning picking lettuce with Geisha, turned around to
see a newborn fawn trying to stand up. Rushed Geisha back to the house before
she could see her, grabbed my camera. By time I got back, the fawn was in the brush next to the
fence. Her mother was on the other side drinking from the stream. This was about
the best photo I could get. She was small enough to fit through the wire fence,
a 4x4 square! She is in the very center of the photo. You may see her better if you
click on the photo to enlarge it. She has a lot of white spots. Another reason I
should carry my camera at all times!
