Couldn't Resist!

A field of daffodils ready to be picked
Even picked a vase full for Bob's secretary's desk
and a vase for me
Just like the daffodils, the belted galloways are multiplying!

Howie Has a Home!

Thanks to Linda & Danielle for helping us find Howie a home. Now living with Dan and Duke, Howie has been renamed to Buster. A happy ending for the luckiest pitty in the world!
As Debra said, it was nothing short of a miracle at this time to find a home for a pit bull.
Thanks also to the 350 rescue groups cross-posting and putting him on Petfinder. Two weeks of hard work, but what a happy ending!

70 Degrees and other Signs of Spring!

Birds staking out their homes . . .
Hundreds of Sandhill Cranes migrating north . . .
Groups of cranes came through all day long . . .
the most I've ever seen.
These were flying a little low, but got a close-up shot!
And the hyacinth bloomed today!

Happy Valentine's Day!

A single pink rose . . .
Antique Italian tin roses . . .
and some favorite antique Valentines.

Sunny & 55 Degrees, sorry Steph, this post is not for you!

Even the lettuce grew a little today!
Dogs and horses getting a bit of sun, too
Harvested a lot of seeds for spring
With warmer weather, maybe Bob will lose the Amish beard!
PS: Steph, soon you will be on the beach in NC and Connecticut will just be a cold memory!

The Big Thaw

Can see the pansies again. Had enough winter already, bring on spring!
