Antico & Banff Mountain Film Festival

 First to Antico for pizza, then on to Georgia Tech for the Banff Mountain Film Festival.

 Steve & Allison Levinson were kind enough to join us for the festival this year.

 But first we must eat this amazing pizza and drink a little wine!

Seriously, I only had two pieces and Bob ate the rest!

Off to the Film Festival to watch all those adventurers mountain climb, hang glide, white water raft, ski, and go caving.  Surely, watching three hours of these films must burn some calories!

Anybody see the balloons go over today?

2011 Spring Garden

Okay, I know I told everyone I wasn't going to plant a garden here because of going back and forth to NC and starting a garden there, but I couldn't help myself

Spent a whole day planting corn, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, basil and watermelons, could barely walk the next day, was a good first workout of the season
Worked so hard even Panda couldn't take it
or Geisha. Who knows where the Wong was!
Then the floods came just days later, and Geisha was pretty bummed out
our dry stream turned into a roaring river . . .
and our pasture turned into a lake. Maybe I should have gone with my first instinct not to do a garden here this year. Live and learn!
